Make sure the Bank Mode extension is enabled
There is an extension in the Avast Secure Browser settings that refers to Bank Mode. It is enabled by default but can be disabled after an update. If the extension is disabled, this mode may not work properly. Therefore, you must make sure that the extension is enabled.
- Open Avast Secure Browser and click the three dots icon to open the menu.
- Click on Advanced Tools, then select Extensions.
- You’ll see all your extensions on a new page. Just scroll down the page to find the Avast Bank Mode extension and make sure it’s enabled.
- If the extension is not on the list, you can click the button next to Developer Mode to see all pre-installed extensions.
Reinstall Avast Secure Browser
Secure Browser installation may be corrupted. To fix the problem, you need to reinstall it.
- Simply uninstall Secure Browser completely.
- Download the latest version from the official website and install it following the instructions on the screen.
- After reinstalling Avast Bank Mode should work properly.
Update Avast Secure Browser and Avast Antivirus
