4. Scroll down until you reach the blue Reset Network button.

Check for suspicious extensions

2. Enter the following address in the address bar to open extensions: chrome://extensions.

Restore Group Policy

1. Use the Windows + R key combination (type those keys together) to open the “Run” dialog box.
2. Type “gpedit.MSC” in the Run dialog box and click OK to open the local group policy editor.
3. On Windows 10, you can also simply type Group Policy Editor into the Start menu and click the top result.
4. In the left navigation pane of the Local Group Policy Editor under Computer Configuration, double-click Windows Settings and navigate to Security Settings >> Public Key Policies.
5. Select the “Public Key Policies” folder by left-clicking and viewing the right sidebar.
6. Double-click the “Certificate Path Validation Settings” policy and turn on the radio button next to the “Define Policy Settings” option.
7. Uncheck the box next to Allow user-approved root certification authorities for certificate validation (recommended).
8. Apply the changes you have made before exiting the program. The changes will only take effect after a restart.
9. Finally, restart your computer to save your changes and check if the error message is still displayed.
